The Casual Living Patio Planner contains the following:
- Approximately 320 Magnetic Furniture Symbols, scaled 1/4” = 1’
- Magnetized Layout Grid Board with 2,992sq. ft. of planning space
- Project Information Title Block to record details
- Wet-Erase Marker for use on Layout Board and Title Block
- Magnetic Paper Holding Corner Magnets
Casual living patio furniture planner symbol page sample:
- Measure & Draw the area perimeter (ie; deck, pool, walkway, doors, building, etc.) directly onto the layout grid with the wet-erase marker included using the scale of ¼” = 1ft.
- If you have a ’blue print’ or CADD drawing, (in 1/4” scale) you can place a paper copy of area directly on the layout board, using magnetic corners to hold in position. It is best to keep the size of this drawing no larger than the layout board (11” H x 17” W). For projects larger than 2,900 sq. ft. do in sections. Plans not in 1/4” scale? No problem, simply photocopy originals and increase or reduce to the proper scale.
- Draw the area measurements and information onto a sheet of standard white paper, and place this paper onto the layout grid. Use the magnetic corners (included) to hold the paper drawing in place.
- Place magnetic furniture symbols on the layout grid surface within the perimeters of your pre-drawn floor plan until you have achieved your desired design.
- Photocopy your plan results. Any revisions or changes can be done simply by adding, removing or repositioning magnetic symbols. For even greater detail consider our Landscape Designer, which has hundreds of graphically illustrated symbols in full color!
