Windows fashion planner includes window treatments, draperies, blinds, shades, shutters, cascades and more, put together to create dream windows in seconds!

With over 600 magnetic symbols that represent over 90% of the industry's most popular generic window shapes & sizes and accessories there is not a faster or easier way to plan.

The Windows Fashions planner as well as the Architectural Windows & Doors planner is an elevation or view front-on planning system.

Making a sketch of each wall view, and labeling with their location ie. 2nd floor bedroom, faces North would be a good way to start.

Your sketches should include the following information:

• Wall height, width & shape.
• Type & size of existing windows and doors and height from floor.
• Location and size of items such as heating and cooling vents, electrical receptacles, radiators.
• Any other items that may affect your project.

The information on these sketches one for each project wall should be transferred to the special planning surface included with this system. The scale used is 1/4” = 1ft. (each square on the planner is 1ft. square)

Recording your project information can be done two ways:

1. Drawing this information directly onto the planning surface with the Wet-Erase marker supplied. You would then place the windows/door symbols in the desired location.
2. Use the appropriate pre-drawn backgrounds to approximate your project area and simply place the window / door symbols in the desired location. The magnetic frame provided will keep the background in place.

For Windows / Doors Renovations; You need to draw only the items that will remain after the changes are made. This will allow the ‘what if’ scenarios to be done by adding or changing the magnetic window or door symbols where desired.

Now To The Fun Part - Applying Window Treatments...

1. For each project wall, take the photocopy of that wall and place directly onto the planning surface. Place the magnetic frame over the paper copy. This will hold the paper flat, while you are creating your dream windows.
2. Place the desired window treatments in the order that they would be installed in the ‘real world’. Items can be stacked on top of each other, ie. blinds first, then drapes, etc.
3. When you have a creation you would like to keep, simply place planning surface face- down on photocopier (carefully), and copy! Make any revisions by adding or changing symbols, and re-copy.

Try enlarging these drawings on your copier, and/or adding color to prepare your final presentation drawing. It doesn’t get any easier!
